Case Study: Cap Trail Bike Shuttle

The Client

Cap Trail Bike Shuttle is a start-up based in Richmond, Virginia. The idea was conceived by three friends while enjoying time together on a weekend. The business provides a shuttle service for bicyclists along the Virginia Capital Trail that extends from Richmond to Jamestown Virginia. The service allows clients to enjoy riding the trail without the worry of coordinating rides or parking to or from their route.


Being a small start-up, Cap Trail Bike Shuttle needed a strong initial brand message and web presence in order to get off to a positive start.



First and foremost, the Cap Trail Bike Shuttle needed a website that would communicate their service offerings and brand message in a clear manner. Additionally, online booking functionality was to also be built in. Working with the company’s owners, we designed a core branding message, communication strategy, and concise call to action. This message conveyed trust in the brand, and compelled its core audience to look into the company’s    service offerings.

The Result

The company held a launch party at a local brewery that was well received by the public. Additionally, their soft launch showed a strong initial kick off of bookings for their services. Going into their first summer season strong, the future is bright for the Cap Trail Bike Shuttle.
